When Neil and Kathy first approached Luna to fill the position of Suitcase Records Factory Dog, Luna had to ask for some time to make her decision. She had spent a lot of time and effort strategically building her career path and she wanted to be certain this role was the right next step. Pay equity and a diverse workplace were also obviously non-negotiable.
Finally, and to the great relief of Suitcase Records management she made the decision to join the team. While she is still finessing her exact job description, Luna feels that the greatest strengths she brings to the organisation are lying in the sun and greeting visitors (as long as they aren’t wearing hi-vis in which case she feels she can best benefit the company by hiding behind the record press.)
