This Australia-Manchester collaboration echoes the ‘heady days’ of Factory Records

UK-based band Sea Fever are collaborating with Trans:Com Brisbane-based independent electronic music label, to release an exclusive Australian-edition LP record, featuring selected Sea Fever singles and remixes by Australian producers.

Sea Fever features Iwan Gronow (Haven, Johnny Marr band), Beth Cassidy (Section 25), New Order’s Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham, and Elliot Barlow. Their sound features atmospheric synths, indie guitars, and driving beats.

The collaboration came about after meeting with members of the band and their management during New Order’s tour of Australia in February 2025. Trans:Com’s co-directors, Dennis Remmer and Anna Petrou, are excited to bring Sea Fever’s music to indie/electronic fans downunder.
