DM Ascension
DM Ascension is an Australian chill-out, smooth jazz and lounge music group based in Canberra. The project was founded by co-composer, arranger, and producer Daniel White alongside Michael Dooley, winner of the 2019 APRA Screen Music Award and City News Artist of the Year. Together, they’ve built an international reputation for sophisticated, atmospheric music.
Known for their high-profile collaborations, DM Ascension’s single “Immersion”, featuring acclaimed French musician Christophe Goze, was awarded Best Single of 2024 at the One World Music Radio 12th Annual Awards. Their collaborations also feature ARIA Award-winning jazz icon Miroslav Bukovsky, among others.
Their music enjoys ongoing global airplay, from Brussels airlines VIP Lounge program to Smooth Jazz Global Radio with their debut track “Oceana” making the top ’50 Indie Listener Chart.’ Their releases have hit the Top 100 Jazz iTunes Charts in Australia, Sweden, and Denmark and to date, DM Ascension's music has been featured in more than 100 music publications worldwide.
