Willi G's debut record is a love letter to the land that raised him, and a strongly worded email to the thieves that find themselves in charge of it. It's an exploration of the feelings that arise from being a beneficiary of colonisation, a descendant of invaders, and a member of a fledgling amalgamation of confused all-comers. It's an attempt at finding the balance between quiet, contented wonder and a passionate rage.
Clean Air is a reminder to breathe, to be kind to yourself, and to gently lead the fire where it needs to go.
