Jordie Lane releases his 5th studio album, ‘Habitual’ on October 9, via his Independent label, Blood Thinner Records.

Produced by LOLLIES (Caroline Spence, Rachel Baiman, Ella Hooper), 
Featuring Trevor Bahnson (Elizabeth Cook) on Guitars, and Jason Burger (Big Thief, Andrew Bird) on drums, the live band also features, Asa Brosius on Pedal Steel (known for his work with producer Joe Henry), and Bass player Elias Broxham of Nashville’s Dallas Ugly.

With guest vocal appearances by North Carolina born Nathan Evans Fox on the instant country-folk classic, ‘Good For You’. The stirring ‘Oh My Honey’ features Nashville’s Caylan Hays. The album closes with LOLLIES adding her renowned duet vocals to ‘Oldest of Friends’. 

Recorded and Mixed by Drew Carroll at The Bomb Shelter (Alabama Shakes, Margo Price, Hurray for the Riff Raff) in Nashville, the record was Mastered by Grammy winning Tim Smiley (Mavis Staples, Waxahatchee, Cut Worms).

Following his #1 ARIA Country and US Americana Top 40 album Tropical Depression, Lane’s new 2026 album ‘Habitual’ signals a shift toward raw, physical performance. Recorded live and all analog to 2inch 16 Track tape, the result is an unfiltered country-rock and blues sound—with just enough tape hiss and grit, but it’s the spontaneous momentum of Lane’s creative essence that give the record its charm.
