LT’s debut album, If My Heart Had A Voice, out October 9, is a deeply personal collection of songs born from some of life’s most challenging seasons and, ultimately, a celebration of resilience, hope, and finding your way back to yourself.

If My Heart Had A Voice is the album I never intended to write, but the one I needed to,” says LT. “Looking back, I realise these songs became a diary without me ever meaning them to. They were written through seasons that challenged every part of who I was, but they’re not defined by what happened; they’re defined by who I chose to become because of it.”

“This album isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about choosing to keep going when life feels impossibly heavy, trusting that one day you’ll look up and realise you can breathe again. It’s about finding your voice when it feels impossible to speak, and remembering that no matter what life throws at you, it never gets to write your ending.”

If My Heart Had A Voice brings together LT’s most vulnerable, defiant and hopeful songwriting to date, with fan favourites “Real Life = No Fun”, “Mercy!” and “Better” already making their mark across Grey’s Anatomy, Double J and KIIS FM. Together, the songs trace the messy, beautiful process of breaking down, rebuilding and learning to trust yourself again, a powerful introduction to an artist stepping fully into her own voice.

About the artist

LT

Some artists wait for permission. LT built a career proving they never needed it.

Crafting bold, emotionally charged pop with equal parts vulnerability and defiance, the Australian singer-songwriter has become known for turning life's messy contradictions into songs that resonate long after the final chorus fades. Beneath the shimmering hooks and razor-sharp songwriting is an artist driven by something deeper: challenging the industry's obsession with age, breaking through glass ceilings, and creating space for artists who don't fit the traditional mould.

That determination has seen LT carve out an impressive independent career, recently signing a global publishing deal with Community Music (Unified Music Group) and earning recognition across Australia, the UK and beyond. LT's music has appeared on the global stage through a placement on Grey's Anatomy with the track "Real Life = No Fun", while fan favourite "Mercy!" landed on British
Airways inflight entertainment and became one of Double J's Top 10 Most Played Tracks.

A four-time Queensland Music Award winner, LT has attracted support from some of the industry's most respected tastemakers. She was invited to perform at a BBC Radio-curated showcase and later returned as an invited in-studio artist, while recent release ‘Better’ have received rotation on KIIS FM and placements across Apple Music's NMD, New in Pop, and New in Pop (China). editorial playlist support from Spotify's Fresh Finds Global, Fresh Finds AU and Pop Edge, and previous releases received support from Spotify's Fresh Finds Global, Fresh Finds AU and Pop Edge.T. he story has also caught the attention of leading music publications, with features in Rolling Stone Australia, Clash Magazine, Notion and The Music Network.
