The Panics - Sleeps Like A Curse

Love As Fiction Records is thrilled to announce the reissue of The Panics' critically acclaimed album, "Sleeps Like a Curse," on vinyl for the very first time. This special edition will be released on 7th February 2025, marking the 20th anniversary of the album's original release.

On the album, The Panics' Jae Laffer says -

"Sleeps Like a Curse" has been remastered for the vinyl format with refreshed and updated artwork. The reissue will be available in a stunning coke bottle green vinyl, adding a unique and collectible touch to this beloved album. This limited-edition release is restricted to just 250 copies, making it a must-have for vinyl enthusiasts and collectors.

"Sleeps Like a Curse" the 2nd album by The Panics was recorded in Sydney at Megaphon studios and released in 2005. The album was produced by Tim Whitten (The Clouds, Powderfinger, Art of Fighting, The Go Betweens, The Necks, 78 Saab and The Smiths).

Featuring "My Best Mistake", the album went on to become the band's first ARIA charting album and was nominated for album of the year at 2005's J awards.
