Sweeney (he/him) is a shape-shifting queer musician, performer and an electronic composer based on Ngarrindjeri Country in SA. He's released a series of solo albums including "Middle Ages", "Stay for the Sorrow", "Corporeal" and the acclaimed "Ageism" which featured the single 'Daddy-O', the video for which went viral on Youtube and received multiple airplays on ABC TV's RAGE.
Over the last decade his music and sound projects have continued to gain notoriety including receiving awards through TED and the Art Music Award for Experimental Music through APRA AMCOS for his international work 'Stereopublic'.
In 2026 he will release a series of compilations: a double vinyl retrospective of songs called "Exquisite Introversions", a boutique CD collection "Quiet Companions" on the Greek label Sound in Silence and "Humouresque" which compiles singles released between 2014-2024.
Throughout 2026 Sweeney will also perform and record a new music work called "Homophonia" exploring ideas of queerness sounds like in the form a song.
