Emily Lubitz "Two Black Horses"

Two Black Horses is Emily Lubitz's debut solo album. Recorded between the hills of the Northern Rivers and the concrete pavements of Melbourne, this collection of songs is an ode to family, love and the ferris wheel of being a music maker. Played by some the best musicians in the country, this record sounds instantly like a classic. With romantic, old hollywood-esque string sections, vocal arrangements reminiscent of an Elvis song and rich country grooves that Dolly would approve of, Two Black Horses will capture your heart.

Bad//Dreems "Dogs at Bay 10th Anniversary Edition

Bad//Dreem's commitment to unflinching storytelling without irony or filter allowed Dogs at Bay to strip away the banal veneer of modern Australian life and reveal the uncomfortable truths beneath. It was a raw, noisy and deeply relatable record, set on the backlots and lonely flat lands of their home town of Adelaide and its surrounds.
